Postnatal pilates

Although life with a newborn can be hectic, it’s so important to make sure you’re looking after yourself as well. Regaining core strength and body awareness after pregnancy and childbirth is so helpful in preventing injuries such as back pain and reducing aching muscles from all the extra lifting and bending you will now be doing with your baby. Pilates is a safe form of exercise that targets the pelvic floor muscles and your deep abdominal muscles. All exercises gently strengthen and stretch your body to help you improve your posture, muscle tone and leave you feeling taller and more relaxed.

Alison is trained especially in postnatal pilates and has had years of experience working with postnatal women in London. She will work with you on strength building exercises as well as talking you through very important postural patterns to help you get out of bad habits in your day to day activities.
