Mat pilates is a series of exercises using your own body for resistance, designed to give you a solid grounding in the pilates technique. Small apparatus such as stretch bands, overballs and fit circles can be used as well. Exercises can vary in difficulty. During your class your instructor will give you different options so you can always work at your pace. Mat pilates is best if you are injury free, however, modifications can be made to exercises in some cases. Please ask us if you have any question whether mat pilates is suitable for you.
